Travel with us to the time of the Kingdom of Mercia, will you join with the Vikings? or fight for the Kingdom of Mercia!?
This family friendly event is packed with Vikings, artisan stalls, crafts, food, archery, axe throwing and returning for the 3rd year, the strong man and women competition, the winner will be crowned King or Queen of the Stones!

Battle For Mercia FAQs

Can we bring a dog?

Well behaved dogs, kept on a lead are welcome.
Please clean up any mess your dog may make.

Is there any camping available?

We have room for campervans that are self sufficient. Please be aware that there is limited / no water on site, no electricity and no lighting. Basic toilets are available, these are unlit and in the main field.

Battle For Mercia – Campervan Pass (Saturday Night Only)

Do we have to come for the whole weekend?

No, there is a very similar schedule on both days

Do we need to buy tickets in advance?

No, admission is on the gate. £3 per adult

Parking is £2

Will there be food and drink?

Yes, we will have a number of options for food and drink on site.

Can I bring the car?

Yes, parking is available in the field after the main gate, follow the signs on the day
